And February starts.....

What a month we are going to have!! (note the sarcasm)
  • I have my last CT scan, to check my kidneys for reflux.
  • We are starting to prepare for trial.
Remind me again, how did all of this happen??
  • One of the best friends I've had in Michigan is moving.
Goodbye Tiff and family, we are happy that you are excited about moving on; it just stinks because we haven't been able to do as much together the last 6 months. Except for me being way too needy. (sorry about that.)
  • My daughter (whom I love very much) will be turning 10.
What do you get someone who doesn't like things, and you never can give enough of your time.
  • Trial is scheduled to start the last week of February.
What fun it will be to have our family judged on about 1 minute and 40 seconds of our lives. How fun because if the past is indicative of the future the media will be involved.
  • If all goes well we will close on the new house.
True this is something very, very, very good. Stressful none the less.

Am I complaining. YES!! Should I delete this post most definitely. Instead what I want is to find a doctor who would think it is just fine to put me in a medically induced coma and wake me up on March 1st. Okay, I know that isn't going to happen and wouldn't be good for my family. So I guess I will just go make some peanutbutter popcorn, that will make everything better, right?

the rain ALWAYS comes before the rainbows... i think you'll have years and years of rainbows after this month. AND what better way to celebrate the end of february than A NEW HOUSE. your house is AMAZING... i know the lord is just waiting to pour blessing upon you and your family...

remember Elisha and his young servant?? 2 kings 6:15-17 "they that are with us are more than they are with them"... the lord opened the eyes of the young servant and he could see angels surrounding them.

you're not alone and this too shall pass. YOU CAN DO IT. God LOVES photo finishes (remember in 3 Nephi... it was the night that they were going to kill all the believers that Christ was born and the sign came...)

that's all the pep talk i have for you... we're praying and we wish you JOY in February!! you're GREAT... you can do this... just keep swimming, just keep swimming... i think i can, i think i can, i think i can.

i know, i'm a dork.

Oh my word does this count as complaining? I don't think so. Besides when it is all over and in the years to come it will be nice to have an accounting of what was going on! I wish you the best of luck in this crazy month to come.

Did you guys sell your old house? Congrats on moving to the new one. It looks beautiful! I think that you have every right to talk about what's coming up in your life. I wouldn't call it complaining, just getting prepared for what's ahead. Good luck and you guys are in our thoughts and prayers.

Awe....Emily, this is a rough month! I know you will pull through it! Hang in there! Every kid is so different and no way are you a bad mother because he has to repeat kindergarten. I wish all our kids could be born with an easy ability to excel, but unfortunately that's not how it works. Some of us just have to work harder and need a little more help than others. Keep your head up and you make as much of that peanut butter popcorn as you need!
