1 month. I win as a mom because
we forgot to take the camera :(
Allie even won 2nd place in the 4th grade.

Legal Updates...

I realize I haven't posted a legal update for a while...
So, here you have the good, bad and ugly.

Good Friday CPS (child protective services) came for a friendly visit. They have been ordered to finish the case. Normal procedure is to talk to the kids at school the come for an unscheduled visit. The blessing is that the worker called me the day before said he just needed to check the box. He was very nice but I hate the fact CPS was in my home. He said in a few years I would laugh about this, I'm not so sure about that! He also said we wouldn't see them again. Thank Heavens!!

Last week I became aware the prosecution began doing interviews of witnesses. Interesting as far as I know they haven't been able to get amazing dirt on us.

For now we are still #1 for May 11 (Happy Mother's day to me) When I pulled the Judges schedule they only have one other civil case listed after ours, however they do have that case listed for the rest of the week on the schedule. I don't know why. My understanding is that criminal in custody go first, then criminal then civil.

I know lots of fun ahead!!

Are you in need of searching the internet...

This will be my last post for tonight. (I think the neighbors are getting curious, and I really don't want to talk with the police.) For anyone up to the challenge and in need of a purpose of being on the internet. I am looking for the two following items: (Actually I'm not looking for them remember I don't have internet. GRRR)

1. A scripture tote: I have a quad. I would like this tote to be sort of a carry all. For example: if I go to a fireside I don't want to have to carry my tote, notebook, wallet etc all seperately. However, I also don't want a huge bage saying I have the kitchen sink with me either.
2. I am in need of some type of purseish thing. I had a purse once (thanks Tiffany) I liked it but I put a hole in it. I want something that I can use with whatever I am wearing be it brown or black. Something of medium size that is useful and cute but cost effective. I know I want a miracle. Everything needs to have a spot. I tried bags but everything falls out and I feel clumsy. I want to look cute!

Addicted horrible withdrawls

I think I just might die.
Okay not really, but this is rough. I love checking blogs. I love looking up random things on the internet. Can I tell you I even love doing my bills. All require the internet. We had our internet shut off for the move which didn't happen. It would be stupid to pay for it to be turned back on when hopefully we find another dream house to move into soon. For now I sit in our Expedition, by myself (this part is actually kinda nice) stealing my friends internet because she isn't home. Do you think the neighbors have noticed? What would I tell someone if they knock on the window? "Hi, my name is Emily and I am an internetaholoic!" Would they laugh or call the insane asylum? Who cares I have just checked blogs, read e-mail and I might check Craigslist, just because I can!!! Or I might go home because my toes are cold and I am to cheap to turn on the truck an waste gas just to warm them up. The internet is worth any pain I might suffer for the moment.

If you wonder why I am not at the library, my computer doesn't like their internet and I can't remember all my passwords for fb etc my computer remembers them for me!

We pulled it together, even if it was the 11th hour.
Thank heavens they have regular candy in the store!!
